I love how he looks like a superhero in that armor. It makes me feel like I'm actually playing with a hero. No, the skull isn't actually on his armor xD
Hmm.. However, Alex is more of a villain than a hero... Maybe when he tries to make it up? lol Well he DOES save Manhattan in the end... or what's left of it xD
That Sgt. Cross or whatever really confused me, but having played it a second time made me understand WHEN he WASN'T Sgt. Cross anymore. Yeah. After that mean ol' Supreme Hunter (first one, of course).
I think you only see Alex smile twice. He's not a smiling person. EmOplz
And Elizabeth? Would you guess she's more than 50?

woah, totally should have finished reading your description, i thought you thought that he was a bad guy 100% through the game and i probably ruined that game for those who haven't played or finished it yet, SHIT!

SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually Alex is an anti-hero, at least in the first game because i'm not sure about the second, he wants revenge but he feels like shit for releasing Elizabeth Greene and her redlight virus on Manhattan which is partially why he hunts her down and eats her -giggity- but the other reason was to try to regain some sense of his past self but finds out that HE is actually the blacklight virus hat had taken the form of the original Alex Mercer. It's funny, the human Alex Mercer did not care for humanity and even released a deadly virus on a major city while the virus Alex Mercer cared enough about humans that he flew a bomb AWAY from manhattan, protecting the last few survivors if any and blowing himself up to shit. The whole consuming people is a bit dark but that's why he's an anti-hero, killin and protectin everybody.

Alex Mercer is not a hero but he is not a villain either. He is what we call an anti-Hero. Someone who will do both but is less noble and honest than the heroes like Superman

i am SOOOO not looking forward to that supreme hunter battle... even on easy... i know im gonna die, or not kill him in time... idk, im more defensive too, 'cept when those marines piss me off after i slap then too much... =/ my plan: armor, blade and maybe stealing a missile launcher or two, if there is any <.<"

_{Oh, I love this game (and the screenshot ) Commander Jackass (er, well, Capt Cross, I mean) really confused me as well, but after reading about the whole story on the Prototype wiki, I understood better.

And, you do not realize how difficult it was to beat the Supreme Hunter at the end on Hard. As a defensive person, I mostly jump around and try to avoid attacks before I can find a good time to hit. So, of course, I had trouble with that stupid time limit. Throwing missiles definitely helped, and using the Diveroll (over-roll? I could never figure out if it said "diver" or "over") to save myself from its Devastator attacks worked wonders.}
